EC Stroke Rehabilitation Center was established in 2018 by Elliot Cheng, a former physiotherapist in the neurosurgery department of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Elliot graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and later obtained a Master's degree in Stroke and Clinical Neurosciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
In addition, Elliot received training in non-invasive brain stimulation therapy at Harvard Medical School in the United States and acupuncture training at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.
As an executive committee member of the Neurological Special Interest Group of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, Elliot is committed to promoting the modernization of neurological rehabilitation in Hong Kong and increasing public awareness of neurological diseases. He also participates in international neurological conferences every year, constantly striving to provide patients with the latest and most effective treatment options.
