【Rehabilitation Equipment Knowledge EP. 1】 What is TMS? ✅

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that directly stimulates the cerebral cortex by rapidly changing magnetic fields, producing electrical currents. The different frequencies of magnetic field changes can effectively enhance or suppress the activity level of the cerebral cortex, achieving the desired therapeutic effect. The activity time of the cerebral cortex 🧠 after treatment is much longer than that of tDCS, providing a greater window for subsequent upper limb, lower limb 🚶‍♂️, swallowing, and speech training 🗣. The treatment usually takes about 30-40 minutes.
