Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) is a treatment that indirectly stimulates the cerebral cortex by applying a small direct current through the skin, skull, and meninges. It regulates the activity level of the cerebral cortex and the activity level of neurotransmitters. By enhancing the activity level of the cerebral cortex in a short period, physical therapy training can be conducted. The treatment usually takes about 20 minutes.
